CFA, FIFe, GCCF & TICA CHAMPION Mauisha Nepherhotep (Hotep)
Felis Britannica (FIFe) Cat of the Year Awards 2009 Best Egyptian Mau
Hotep was our first Egyptian Mau stud cat. He was born and bred in Belgium in January 2007 by Isabelle de Bakker of Mauisha Egyptian Maus. He arrived in the UK in March 2008, already a CFA Champion.
In just three shows he gained his GCCF Champion title. In 2009 he became a TICA Champion and he was also honoured with a TICA Award of Excellence for achieving 3rd Best Egyptian Mau of the Year Northern Europe Region. In November 2009 he became a FIFe Champion and completed his showing days by winning Best Egyptian Mau at the Felis Britannica Cat of the Year Awards 2009!
We are very proud to say that Hotep was the first Egyptian Mau in the UK to be awarded the title of Champion under all three governing bodies and to date he is still the only Mau to have done so! He retired as a stud cat in 2009 and now lives with Wendi and her family in North Wales.
