**STORK NEWS** On 30th April 2008 our Abyssinian queen, Coco, gave birth to four beautiful usual kittens, sired by Grand Champion Silversmoke Dan Dare. There are three girls which we have named Melissaidan Aint She Sweet (Sweetie), Melissaidan Chantilly Lace (Tilly) and Melissaidan Pepperhot Baby (Pepper). The lone boy has been named Melissaidan Danny Boy (Danny). Below are pictures of their progress.

Our Kittens
We want to ensure that all our kittens have the best start in life and this is why we are members of the Royal Canin Cat Breeder Club. All Melissaidan kittens leave us with a Royal Canin kitten pack containing a storage tin, bag of food, kitten book, cat toy or blanket and measuring cup (the contents may vary from time to time).

We are always happy to receive enquiries about our kittens. We will take deposits for kittens ONLY when the litter is born and we know exactly what is available. We ask for a non-refundable deposit and your kitten is then advertised as reserved here on our website. The remaining balance is payable on collection of your kitten. We ask that the balance be paid in cash unless a cheque is sent to us with time to clear before you collect your kitten.
As with most breeders, our prices vary according to whether a kitten is sold as a pet (on the GCCF non-active register) or, by prior agreement, as a potential breeding queen or show quality kitten. Please note that all our male kittens are sold as pets only. The prices we ask fall within the average range charged by other GCCF registered Abyssinian and Egyptian Mau breeders.
We are happy to provisionally reserve kittens once they are born. We do not allow any personal visits until the kittens are between six to eight weeks old. This is to reduce the risk of infection. All of our kittens are sold as pets unless otherwise discussed and agreed in advance of purchase. If you are looking for a female kitten for breeding please be honest with us from the start as we are always willing to consider any request. The health and well being of our kittens is of paramount importance to us so be prepared for us to ask you some questions in order to satisfy ourselves that you wish to breed for the right reasons. If you are serious about undertaking the breeding of a cat you will be happy to answer a few questions.
Our kittens do not leave us until they are at least 13 weeks of age. They will already have been vaccinated, wormed, treated for fleas and will be fully litter trained. They will also have 6 weeks free Pet Plan insurance.
