CFA CHAMPION Mauisha Nepherhotep (Hotep)

Hotep was born and bred in Belgium in January 2007 by Isabelle de Bakker of Mauisha Egyptian Maus. He arrived in the UK in March 2008. His sire is CFA Champion Newkingdom Leander of Mauisha and his dam is CFA Champion Mauisha Nitrocris. Hotep is known to carry smoke. To see a copy of Hotep's pedigree click here.
He is a clean coloured silver with good contrast, bright green eyes and a very sweet temperament. He is a largish boy with a very long elegant body. Hotep is a valuable addition to this country's breeding programme as through his dam, he brings new blood to the UK Mau gene pool. He lives in his own insulated and heated stud quarters with both indoor and outdoor exercise areas, including separate quarters for visiting queens. Hotep is such an affectionate cat and adores human company. We try to bring him indoors for a few hours every day whilst the queens are outside exercising. He just loves to cuddle up with you on the sofa.
Hotep did well at CFA shows in Europe and was made up to Champion. In his last kitten show he ended up being the highest scoring all-breed kitten. We have begun showing him here in the UK and he gained a CC at his first show.
Hotep has sired stunning litters of silver and smoke kittens in both Belgium and here in the UK. He came to us at the end of September and has now settled in to his new quarters. He is available at stud to suitably registered and tested Egyptian Mau queens. A copy of our Mating Agreement is attached here for you to download. For the safety and security of both cats, Hotep's quarters are monitored by CCTV whilst he has a queen in attendance.
